January 2010 Special Three different Retreats: Back to Back retreats making three retreats in one. New students will do the normal 10-day retreat Jan 9-18. Accepted Old students who did a retreat with Steve and Rosemary prior to December 1, 2009 will have the choice to do the regular retreat, the whole 19 days or join only for the special Old Students' Brahma Viharas retreat Jan 18-27. The emphasis of the Brahma Viharas retreat will be on the development of the unselfish emotions or Compassion, Lovingkindness, Sympathetic Joy and Equanimity with many guided meditations. Old students who wish to do the full 19-days, Jan 9-27 must apply in advance.
10-Day Special Old & New Students' Retreat: July 13-22, 2010 & January 13-22, 2011. Two retreats in one. New students will do the normal 10-day retreat. Old students who did a retreat with Steve and Rosemary prior to June 1, 2010 or December 1, 2010 will have the choice either to do the normal retreat or the Special Old Students' Retreat. They will receive more teachings on Wise Reflection, which also include Compassion Lovingkindness meditations, twice a day in a separate hall to the new students.
Assistant led retreats: Assistant teachers, Mike and Helge Sansom are long time students of Steve and Rosemary. They lead the retreat, doing all the private interviews, yet using Rosemary and Steve's recordings of their talks for instruction in the Meditation Hall. All the same requirements and conditions apply similar to the retreats, which Steve and Rosemary lead personally. Three private interviews are scheduled for retreatants as usual. At present there are no scheduled Assistant-led retreats, however Helge and Mike do plan to give some public talks in Bangkok:
